10 Common Mistakes New Peptide Users Make

From bad math on the calculator to skipping bloodwork — here are the mistakes that waste money and delay results.

1. Buying from sketchy vendors

If a deal seems too good to be true, it is. Bad sourcing wastes money and can be dangerous. See our guide on where to buy peptides safely.

2. Wrong reconstitution math

Adding too much or too little BAC water means every dose is off. Use a calculator — don't eyeball it.

3. Shaking the vial

Peptides are fragile. Swirl, never shake.

4. Storing reconstituted peptides at room temp

The fastest way to ruin a vial. Refrigerate immediately after mixing.

5. Stacking too many compounds at once

If you start 4 peptides on the same day and feel weird, you have no idea which one is responsible. Add one at a time, 2 weeks apart.

6. Ignoring titration on GLP-1s

Starting at a high dose causes brutal nausea. Ramp slowly.

7. Not tracking anything

Without baseline measurements, you can't tell if anything is working. See what to measure.

8. Skipping bloodwork

Especially on long-term protocols (GH peptides, GLP-1s), bloodwork is essential.

9. Reusing needles

Don't. Each shot = fresh needle. Used needles dull immediately and harbor bacteria.

10. Not having an exit plan

Especially with GLP-1s — what's your maintenance plan when you stop? Plan it before you start.
